Terms of Service

Effective Date: April 1, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using IceTimeBooking.com (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and make bookings. Users under 18 may use the Service only with the active consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

2. IceTime's Role as Marketplace

IceTime operates as a marketplace that connects skaters with ice rinks. When you complete a booking, you are entering into a direct agreement with the rink — IceTime is not a party to that agreement.

IceTime is not liable for rink-side cancellations, changes to sessions, on-ice injuries, property damage, or the overall quality of the skating experience. Any disputes arising from the session itself must be resolved directly with the rink.

3. Account Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and to keep that information up to date. You are solely responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account, whether or not authorized by you
  • Notifying us immediately at legal@icetimebooking.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account

4. Booking and Payment

Sessions are booked subject to real-time rink availability. Completing a booking constitutes a binding purchase. All payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. IceTime charges a 10% service fee on every transaction, which is added at checkout and displayed before you confirm payment. All prices are in US dollars.

The IceTime service fee is non-refundable under all circumstances, including cancellations, no-shows, and rink-initiated changes, except where a rink cancels the session as described in Section 5.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

  • 24 or more hours before session start: Full refund of the rink portion. The IceTime 10% service fee is non-refundable.
  • Less than 24 hours before session start: No refund of any amount.
  • No-show: No refund of any amount.
  • Rink cancels the session: Full refund including the IceTime service fee.

Eligible refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.

6. Rink Portal Users

Rink owners and managers who access the IceTime Rink Portal agree to the following additional obligations:

  • Publish accurate schedules including correct session types, times, prices, and surface availability
  • Honor all confirmed bookings made through the platform and provide the advertised session
  • Maintain safe, operational facilities for all booked sessions
  • Promptly notify IceTime of any session cancellation so affected skaters may be refunded

Intentional no-shows by rinks or patterns of inaccurate listings may result in suspension or permanent removal from the IceTime platform.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the Service to:

  • Make fraudulent or speculative bookings with no intent to attend
  • Scrape, crawl, or programmatically access the platform without IceTime's written consent
  • Impersonate any person, rink, or organization
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse rink staff or other users
  • Circumvent or attempt to circumvent the IceTime booking or payment system
  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform's infrastructure or security

8. Intellectual Property

The IceTime name, logo, and all platform content — including software, design, text, and graphics — are the proprietary property of IceTime LLC and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Content you submit through the Service (such as reviews or feedback) remains your property. By submitting it, you grant IceTime a worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute that content in connection with operating and promoting the platform.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. IceTime makes no warranty regarding rink quality, ice conditions, or session availability. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, IceTime's aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service is capped at the total fees you paid to IceTime in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. IceTime is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or bodily injury arising from your use of the Service or attendance at a booked session.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Suffolk County, Massachusetts, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
