Cookie Policy

Effective Date: April 1, 2026

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They allow the site to remember information between page loads — such as your login state — so you don't need to re-authenticate on every request. Cookies are not programs and cannot access other files on your device.

We distinguish between two types by duration: session cookies, which are cleared automatically when you close your browser, and persistent cookies, which remain on your device until they expire or you delete them. We also distinguish between first-party cookies set directly by IceTime, and third-party cookies set by our service providers such as Stripe.

2. Cookies We Use

Strictly Necessary

Supabase Authentication

Names:sb-access-token, sb-refresh-token
Purpose:Required to keep you signed in to IceTime across page loads. Without these, you would be logged out on every navigation.
Can disable:No — the Service cannot function without these cookies.
Strictly Necessary

Stripe Payment Processing

Names:__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid
Purpose:Set by Stripe.js during checkout to detect fraud and ensure secure payment processing. These are required when you complete a booking.
Can disable:No — disabling may prevent checkout from completing.
Analytics

Plausible Analytics

Cookies set:None
Purpose:Cookieless, anonymized page-view tracking. No personal data is collected or transmitted. Data is aggregated and never linked to any individual.
Can disable:Yes — no action required; Plausible does not use cookies.

3. What We Don't Use

IceTime does not use any of the following:

  • Advertising cookies or ad-targeting pixels of any kind
  • Facebook Pixel or Meta tracking
  • Google Ads, Google Analytics, or Google Tag Manager
  • Cross-site behavioral tracking
  • Third-party marketing or retargeting cookies

4. How to Control Cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. The exact path varies by browser:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Preferences → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data
Note: Blocking authentication cookies (Supabase) will prevent you from logging in to IceTime. Blocking Stripe cookies may prevent you from completing bookings.

5. Policy Updates

We update this Cookie Policy whenever our cookie usage changes. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. For broader information about how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
